In a supervision, innovation steps need to be taken, including teacher training in clinical supervision. This supervision is carried out by a face-to-face meeting between the supervisor and the teacher, discussing the teaching in the classroom for improvement of learning and professional development. Problem formulation in this research, that is: (1) how is clinical supervision? (2) what is the purpose of clinical supervision? (3) What are the characteristics of clinical supervision? (4) What is the principle of clinical supervision? (5) How does the process of coaching teachers with clinical supervision? This study aims to get a picture of the importance of teacher coaching with clinical supervision by using the method of library research using qualitative research type. Data analysis using textual data analysis and checking the validity of the data used include the discussion of co-workers and the use of reference materials. The results show that in general clinical supervision aims to improve and improve the teaching skills of teachers in the classroom. While specifically aimed at providing feedback, awakening awareness and confidence in teaching, improving basic skills and required teaching strategies, diagnosing and solving learning problems as well as developing career and teacher professions independently. That is what distinguishes the clinical supervision with other supervision techniques. So it can be concluded that in a coaching of teachers required the implementation of clinical supervision.
