Abstract

Covid 19 is caused by SARS-CoV2, is a large family of corona viruses that can cause disease in humans and animals, in humans it infects the respiratory tract with symptoms of fever, dry cough, and shortness of breath. Data as of October 14, 2021, there were 4,233,014 confirmed cases of covid 19. This community service activity was carried out on November 14, 2021, with the aim that during this covid 19 pandemic, people, especially in the Paroki Santa Maria Tak Bernoda Rangkasbitung, are able to make Hand Sanitizers and Hand Soap, independently and use it correctly so that each individual can have clean and healthy living behavior so that they can avoid the Covid 19 disease, besides that the training to make Hand Sanitizer and Hand Soap itself has indirectly trained people to behave frugally, given the existence of decrease in income during the covid 19 period. The selection of training participants was based on a previous analysis that there were more than 10 members of the Paroki Santa Maria Tak Bernoda in Rangkasbitung church community who were confirmed to have Covid 19 from several neighborhoods/stations in the Paroki Santa Maria Tak Bernoda of ??Rangkasbitung. The number of participants who took part in training activities for making Hand Sanitizer and Handsoap as well as COVID-19 prevention education at the Paroki Santa Maria Tak Bernoda Rangkasbitung Lebak Banten by gender were 3 (25%) male and 9 (75%) male female genital. The number of participants is still very limited considering the conditions are still not possible to gather in large numbers. The increase in knowledge occurred after providing education about COVID-19, namely the definition variable for COVID-19 was 43.10%, the incubation period variable for COVID-19 was 33.33%, the variable for the main symptoms of COVID-19 was 127.27, the variable coughing or sneezing was 27.27%. , the variable of COVID-19 prevention measures is 59.52%.
