Technology-Based Home Industry Crafters Toward Upgrading MSMEs

Lamak / Ceniga Pis Bolong craftsmen are MSME home industry crafts, located in Buwit village, Tabanan, Bali, which have not been touched by technology and digitalization of the manufacturing technique process, as well as business management. Ceniga Pis Bolong is usually installed at eight pelinggih temples, house corners, and entrances to temples where worship is held, and as an upakara / uparengga device that functions as part of a series of Hindu religious ceremonies in Bali. The objectives of PKM activities are focused on the digital economy to improve the quality and production results and improve the welfare of PKM partners. Based on the results of the initial meeting with partners, there are two priority problems, namely that craftsmen have not used technology-based equipment in the process of making lamak techniques, and in terms of business management have not used digitalization. The solution offered by the PKM team related to the problem is to conduct technology-based training to increase the insight, knowledge, skills of partners in terms of business management, and marketing as well as to increase production for the welfare of partners. The results of PKM activities by providing technology-based equipment and equipment for the lamak making technique process, the production results are of higher quality. Partners are able to use and utilize digital applications for financial reports and marketing, and can carry out good management. The conclusion is that this PKM is very important to do to get to the next level.
