The environment is the most important part of human life, humans depend on the existing nature. The existing environment is actually damaged due to human actions that tend to be selfish and excessive exploitation. This environmental damage has a negative impact on other living things, especially health. Environmental ethics is the main basis in building nature conservation efforts in Indonesia. This is the main focus of the author in compiling this scientific work. The author aims to make the Indonesian people aware that the environmental situation is bad. The environmental ethics that have been presented by the author become an instrument and motivation for the Indonesian people to change their attitudes and behavior. Thus, the existing nature can always be cared for and preserved. In preparing this paper, the author used a qualitative method with a literature study of the situation that occurred by reading several journal articles and books. In preparing this paper, the author found that the damage that occurred was the attitude and behavior of humans themselves. With the existence of environmental ethics, the author hopes that the Indonesian people will realize that it is a shared moral responsibility to protect the environment, so that one day Indonesia will become a country with good nature and be labeled as a country that is able to care for nature. With the hope that nature will be useful for the next generation.
