Education and Implementation of the Waste Bank Digitalization System in Bonto Tangnga Village, Uluere Subdistrict, Bantaeng Regency

The issue of domestic waste in Bonto Tangnga Village, Bantaeng Regency, remains an environmental challenge due to low public awareness of waste sorting and a conventional waste bank management system. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to improve community environmental literacy and optimize waste bank management through digital recording. The methods used include interactive socialization on waste sorting at the source, discussions on the use of digital-based waste bank management applications, and operational assistance for administrators. The results of the activity show an 85% increase in community understanding of the circular economy. The implementation of the digital system successfully digitized the data of 100 initial customers and increased financial reporting efficiency by 70% compared to the manual system. The transparency of data offered by the digital system has been proven to increase community participation in waste saving, as seen from a 60% increase in the volume of managed inorganic waste in the first month. The integration of literacy education and the application of digital technology is effective in strengthening the institutionalization of the Waste Bank at the village level.
